Quality Standards for Refurbished Test Equipment

Telogy performs rigorous quality audits to ensure our refurbished equipment meets the highest quality standards in function and appearance. In addition, Telogy ensures each instrument comes fully-equipped with accessories end documentation.
Telogy’s 17-Step Refurbishment Process
Mechanical
  1. All instruments are examined and meticulously cleaned inside and out.
  2. Mechanical components such as handles, knobs, switches, and connectors, are inspected and tested for proper operation.
  3. Missing or damaged hardware is replaced or repaired.
  4. Cracked or broken bezels, frames, and latches are replaced or repaired.
  5. Scratched hardware and panels are painted and/or replaced.
  6. Non-instrument labels are removed.
  7. Internal boards are reseated and secured.
  8. Fans are cleaned and tested for smooth operation.
  9. Air filters are cleaned or replaced.
  10. Interior cables and wires are checked, replaced if necessary, and secured.
Electrical
  1. An operational check of all functions is performed.
  2. All refurbished equipment receives a full calibration to manufacturer’s specifications according to established procedures.
  3. A “Certificate of Calibration” is available for all equipment.
Quality Assurance
  1. All instruments include the same standard set of accessories and manuals recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Once the refurbishment process is completed, the equipment is wrapped in antistatic plastic film for protection from dust and electrostatic discharge.
  3. Before shipment to a customer, all equipment is inspected one last time to be sure that the highest standards are met.
  4. Instruments are packed using CFC-free foam inplace material and shipped in extra heavy-duty double walled corrugated containers.
